After venturing into the fridge and rescuing the previous refrigerator repairmen, Sam and Max discover that the dimensional portal was created by a sentient, spoiled frozen entrée. When Darla "The Geek" Gugenheek's fridge becomes a portal to another dimension, she seeks the aid of Sam and Max. ![]() The humor of the show is noticeably tamer than its source material in the comics. Each episode is a standalone adventure focusing on Sam and Max, Freelance Police.
